Myanmar (Burma) earthquake: Shaking with 7.7 magnitude Earthquake

Myanmar Earthquake Tragedy: Over 2,000 Dead as Rescue Efforts Struggle Amid Conflict and Infrastructure Collaps

Mandalay, Myanmar – A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar on March 28, 2025, leaving widespread devastation in its wake. The death toll has risen to over 2,000, with nearly 4,000 injured and many still missing. The hardest-hit areas include Mandalay and surrounding regions, where collapsed buildings, damaged roads, and power outages are severely hampering rescue operations.

Humanitarian Crisis Worsens

The earthquake has deepened Myanmar’s ongoing humanitarian crisis. Among the deceased are 200 Buddhist monks, 700 Muslim worshippers, and 50 young children who perished in a collapsed preschool. Millions of people already displaced due to civil war now face even greater hardships, with limited access to emergency aid. Relief workers are struggling to reach affected communities due to damaged infrastructure and ongoing conflicts in the region.

Rescue Operations Hampered

The rescue efforts face severe obstacles, including fuel shortages, damaged transport networks, and unreliable communication lines. International relief organizations, including the United Nations, have warned of increasing casualties as survivors remain trapped under rubble. Medical aid, shelter, and food supplies are urgently needed, especially as monsoon season approaches.

International Aid and Support

Global humanitarian aid is pouring in from countries including India, China, and the European Union. The United States has pledged $2 million in financial assistance to support rescue and relief operations. Doctors Without Borders and the Red Cross have also mobilized emergency response teams to provide medical care to survivors.

Impact Beyond Myanmar: Deaths Reported in Thailand

The earthquake’s impact was also felt in Bangkok, Thailand, where at least 18 people died after a construction site collapsed. Rescue teams continue to search for survivors in affected areas.

Hamas hands over bodies of four Israeli hostages: include Bibas children and their mother

Hamas Returns Bodies of Four Israeli Hostages, Marking a Painful Moment for Israel

(News9US)-For the first time since the October 7, 2023, attacks, Hamas has returned the bodies of four Israeli hostages who were held in Gaza, Israeli officials confirmed on Thursday.

Among them is Shiri Bibas, who was 32 years old when she was abducted along with her two young sons, Ariel (4) and Kfir (9 months), from their home in Kibbutz Nir Oz in southern Israel. The Bibas children became symbols of the devastating impact of the attacks, and their fate has gripped Israel for over 16 months.

The return of the hostage bodies is an emotional moment for Israel, marking the first time Hamas has released deceased captives since the start of the conflict. It remains unclear whether this move signals a shift in negotiations over the remaining hostages.

Israel Gaza Ceasefire Update

Who will be Released  from both side

How many and to whom, prisoners from both sides will be freed ?

Gaza Ceasefire Agreement Brings Hope for Humanitarian Aid and Civilian Relief

A new ceasefire agreement between Israel and Palestinian authorities brings a much-needed respite for the people of Gaza, marking the first pause in over a year and the second since the Israeli military's bombardment began. This agreement promises significant changes for both civilians and the war-torn region.

Israeli Military Withdrawal and Buffer Zone

The Israeli military will begin withdrawing from key urban centers in Gaza, though it will retain control along the Gaza-Egypt border (Philadelphi Corridor) and maintain a buffer zone near the Israeli border. This strategic positioning has been one of the key negotiation points, impacting the final terms of the ceasefire deal.

Return of Civilians and Humanitarian Aid

The agreement allows Palestinian civilians to return to their homes across Gaza, particularly in the heavily damaged northern region. One of the most significant outcomes of the ceasefire is the anticipated influx of humanitarian aid into Gaza, a region that has faced worsening conditions for months.

Critical Medical Aid and Infrastructure Repair

In addition to the delivery of food and essential supplies, the ceasefire will allow for the medical evacuation of the wounded, enabling them to receive treatment outside of Gaza. Hospitals, bakeries, and other vital infrastructure are set to undergo repairs, providing critical support to the region's population and addressing the urgent needs of residents.

This ceasefire and the humanitarian aid expected to follow represent a glimmer of hope for Gaza's suffering population, offering much-needed relief after months of conflict.

Israeli attack on Lebanon’s Christian region, kills 23 with 7 children

Israel again air attack on Labanese Christian village on Sunday and killed at least 23 people including 7 Children with hundred Wounded, according to Lebanon's Ministry of Health.

The village is located outside Hezbollah's usual strongholds in southern Beirut, as well as in southern and eastern Lebanon. These areas have been heavily bombed by Israel since late September in its conflict with the Iran-backed Hezbollah.

On Sunday, the health ministry reported that an Israeli attack on Almat, in the Jbeil district, killed 23 people, including seven children. This is the latest, though not final, casualty count.

This is only the second time that the area has been attacked since Israel’s fighting with Hezbollah intensified.

“Enemy aircraft launched a strike on a house in the al-Laqees neighbourhood” of the city, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported.

Since September 27, the Israeli military has given multiple warnings, telling people to leave their homes. Although Israel’s military says these orders are meant to protect civilians in Lebanon, in practice, these evacuation orders are not always issued.

In response, Hezbollah reported that it fired rockets at Israeli forces in Shebaa, a town in southern Lebanon, and at HaGoshrim, a settlement in northern Israel. These attacks happened early Sunday morningSince the war in Gaza began, Israeli attacks in Lebanon have killed at least 3,136 people and injured 13,979 others.

Hezbollah says it is supporting Hamas and standing with the people of Gaza, where Israel’s military actions continue. Early Sunday morning, an Israeli attack on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza killed 33 people, including 13 children.

Efforts to reach a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas have not succeeded, with both sides blaming each other.

Qatar, which has been involved in truce talks, announced on Saturday that it would pause its efforts to mediate between Hamas and Israel until both sides show a real commitment to ending the war in Gaza.

In the meantime, Arab and Muslim leaders have started arriving in Saudi Arabia for a summit on Monday focused on the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon, according to Saudi state media.

(News9)--Iran has launched a missile attack on Israel. Sirens sounded across the country as News reporters teams on the ground saw dozens of missiles over the cities of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa.

The attack was in response to the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and others, according to Iranian state media, citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Iran launched missile strikes from locations across the country, including Tabriz, Kashan, and the outskirts of Tehran, late Tuesday night local time.

Social media platforms were inundated with videos that captured dramatic scenes of rocket fire illuminating the Iranian skyline.

Israel attacks on Hezbollah Labnan back to back:
( News9.us Wed September 25, 2024)

Hezbollah’s response to back-to-back Israeli attacks appears to have been carefully calibrated.Hezbollah too responding as it was pledging a “battle without limits” against Israel.
The first time Hezbollah launched what it said was a ballistic missile at Israel; the first time a missile had reached near Tel Aviv from Lebanon; and the first time Hassan Nasrallah, the militant group’s leader, made good on his promise to respond to Israeli strikes on Beirut with Hezbollah’s own on Tel Aviv.

But due to the strength of Israel’s air defenses, not a single missile was reached to the target – each and every balastic missile likely to have been shot down.

The strikes between Israel and Hezbollah, forced more than 60,000 Israelis to flee their homes in the north of the country, but the number of casualties remained relatively low. The Lebanese side of the border was also emptied of its nearly 100,000 residents in Israeli strikes as part of the cross-fire.

Russian strike by Missiles on military educational facility in central Ukraine: Leaves Dozens Dead (47+)

(News9)Tue September 3, 2024 :- A Russian strike against a military educational facility in central Ukraine killed 47 people and injured at least 206 others, according to Ukrainian officials, in one of the deadliest single attacks since the start of Moscow’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.
President V Zelensky said preliminary information indicated two ballistic missiles hit the facility in the city of Poltava and a nearby hospital on Tuesday morning.
“We say again and again to everyone in the world who has the power to stop this terror: air defense systems and missiles are needed in Ukraine, not somewhere in a warehouse,” Zelensky said.

President Zelensky repeated his call on Ukraine’s Western allies to supply Kyiv with more air defenses and lift restrictions on his country’s military using their weapons to strike inside Russia.

It is Time Now to use “Long-range strikes that can protect against Russian terror are needed now, not later. Every day of delay is, unfortunately, the death of people,” he added.

Speaking to CNN’s Christiane Amanpour in Kyiv, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said the missile reached the target in a very short period of time. People were struck down as they were trying to get into the bomb shelter, officials said.
