Areas of analysis: include intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems; command, control, and communication systems; satellite communications and ground systems, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity for the Department of Defense (DoD); and national critical infrastructure.

Analysis: Analysis of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems; command, control, and communication systems; satellite communications and ground systems, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity for the Department of Defense (DoD); and national critical infrastructure. Studies that CBO has published in those areas have analyzed space-based radar for military use, options for upgrading the Global Positioning System, and the Armys wireless communications programs.
Future report: include all-domain command and control systems; distributed ISR architectures; defense applications of artificial intelligence; cybersecurity of critical infrastructure; and the effect of drones, unmanned vessels, missiles, and automation on combat and on DoDs future force structure.
Qualification:
A US National, should have an Advance Degree in engineering, computer science, the physical sciences, or natural sciences with Ph.D./equivalent , in the physical sciences, natural sciences, computer science, or engineering, although candidates with advanced degrees in related fields, such as statistics, applied mathematics, or public policy.
Experience: A three working experience in related Field, except High School Projects experience. Must have work and interest/knowledge in Defence Budget Issues.
